My husband slipped on some ice and broke his leg. These past weeks were a blur of hospital rooms, traffic and work. Pain, exhaustion and anxiety revealed by sharp contrasts and edges. The indigo shibori reminds me of Xrays...Hand-dyed cotton, machine quilted, embroidered and reverse-appliquéd.
