An exercise in textures, this
piece is the result of sorting through my fabric pile, looking for an
"ugly candidate" to embellish. I chose a humble dusty green cotton, and
dressed it up with watered down gold Seta paint. Hand-dyed and painted
cotton, cotton batting. Machine quilted and embroidered, bobbin work.
