After an afternoon's walk in the woods
in Haliburton, Ontario, I printed one of my photos on cotton and composed
this quilt with hand-dyed cottons by Judy Robertson and some of my
own... Early fall in Haliburton is a show of colour, with the maples,
birches, beeches and sumac brightly contrasting with the darker pines
and hemlocks...and the white baneberry really stands out on the forest
floor.
